سقى يا بن جاويشٍ ضريح رحمةً
ومغفرةًand with forgiveness عظمىsupreme الإلهGod المقدّسthe holy
ومغفرةً عظمى الإله المقدّس
May your tomb, O son of Jawish, be showered with mercy
Water, O son of Jawish, a tomb of mercy
And supreme forgiveness by the holy God.
And great forgiveness, O Holy God
وإنand although تكyou are قدalready أصبحتyou came to be at morning فيin اللحدthe grave ارخواrecord the date
وإن تك قد أصبحت في اللحد ارخوا
صحيبcompanion of الصفاpurity فيin الخلدeternity أمسيتyou came to be at evening بطرسُButrus
صحيب الصفا في الخلد أمسيت بطرسُ
And though morning has found you in the grave, record the date:
And if you have become in the grave, spread
Companion of purity, evening has found you in eternity, Butrus.
