Watering for the lands of Levant, how many
stars have sprung up in its garden!
Stars in its meadows have starred
وإذاand when السماءthe sky بأرضهاupon its earth نزلتdescended
وإذا السماء بأرضها نزلت
طلعتrose منfrom أناملfingertips الأغصانthe branches
طلعت من أنامل الأغصان
And when the sky descends upon its earth,
And if the sky descended to its land
it rises from the fingertips of the branches.
