I love you with many forms of love; I have not found

any known equal to them among all humankind.

Among them is this: time never brings your memory

before the spirit without the spirit nearly perishing.

And among them is a love that belongs to the heart alone,

so I neither doubt it nor force it.

And a love plainly manifest in body and complexion,

and a love within my soul, subtler than the spirit.
