أكابد اللَّيل في دَمْعٍ وفي أرقٍ

أكابد اللَّيل في دَمْعٍ وفي أرقٍ

وكلّ ذلك ألقاه بأجفاني

I endure the night in tears and sleeplessness,

Roaming the night in tears and sleeplessness

And all of this I face with my eyelids.

And all of that I cast with my eyelids
