أنا الطائر المحكي والآخر الصدى

An eagle in Jilliq's mosque says to us:

“I am the bird being imitated, and the other is the echo.”

وقد أطرب الأسماع مطرب جنكها

وقد أطرب الأسماع مطرب جنكها

وغنى به من لا يغني مغردا

وغنى به من لا يغني مغردا

And indeed, its harp-player has delighted the ears,

And through it, one who does not sing has sung, warbling.
