يا مُرسِلاً في الدُجى مِن أَرضِ كاظِمَةٍ

خَيالُهُ مُعرِضاً عَنّي بِلا سَبَبِ

خَيالُهُ مُعرِضاً عَنّي بِلا سَبَبِ

O you who send, in the darkness, from the land of Kazimah,

O you who in the darkness are coming from a silent land

Your apparition, turning away from me for no reason,

Your image turning away from me without cause

لا تَمنَعِ الطَيفَ مِن طيبِ الوِصالِ فَما

لا تَمنَعِ الطَيفَ مِن طيبِ الوِصالِ فَما

يَضُرُّهُ أن يُريني الصِدق في الكَذِبِ

يَضُرُّهُ أن يُريني الصِدق في الكَذِبِ

Do not deny the phantom the sweetness of union, for what

Do not prevent the specter from the sweetness of reunion, for

Harm would it suffer by showing me truth in falsehood?

It does not harm him to show me sincerity in falsehood
