1. يا من تقدَّس عن أن

    يحيط وصف بذاته

    O You who are too holy for

    any description to encompass Your essence,

  2. ومن تعالى جلالاً

    عن مشبهٍ في صفاته

    and You who are exalted in majesty

    beyond any counterpart in Your attributes,

  3. ومن قبولُ ثنائي

    إليه أسنى هباته

    and You whose acceptance of my praise

    offered to You is the loftiest of Your gifts—

  4. صلى على من تبدى

    نور الهدى من سماته

    send blessings upon him in whom shone

    the light of guidance from his features;

  5. ومن علا الفخر لما

    نمى إلى معلواته

    and upon him through whom glory rose when

    it was ascribed to his lofty deeds:

  6. محمدٍ خيرَ هادِ

    بحلمه وأناته

    Muhammad, the finest guide

    through his forbearance and deliberation;

  7. محمد خير مبدٍ

    لنا سنا معجزاته

    Muhammad, the finest revealer

    to us of the radiance of his miracles.

  8. أكرم به من نبيٍّ

    همت سما مكرماته

    How noble a prophet he is!

    The sky of his generous deeds poured down rain.

  9. أعززْ به من رسول

    سمت علا درجاته

    How mighty a messenger he is!

    The heights of his ranks soared.

  10. وخصه الله منه

    بالفضل من تكرماته

    And God singled him out for favor from Himself,

    with bounty among His acts of generosity,

  11. لما حباه بأوفى

    صلاته في صلاته

    when He endowed him with the fullest

    of His blessings among His gifts.
