مازال كلُّ حليفٍ

مازال كلُّ حليفٍ

لله أضحى وليّاً

لله أضحى وليّاً

Every ally continues,

Every ally of God

having become a friend of God,

Has become a guardian

وللعلومِ خَليلا

وللعلومِ خَليلا

وعنْ سواها خَليا

وعنْ سواها خَليا

and a close companion of the sciences,

And a friend of knowledge

and free of all else,

Detached from all else

يصوغُ عقيانَ مدحٍ

يصوغُ عقيانَ مدحٍ

للهاشميِّ حُليّا

للهاشميِّ حُليّا

to fashion the pure gold of praise

He composes sincere praise

into ornaments for the Hashimite,

For the Hashimi

ويوجبُ الحقَّ فيه

ويوجبُ الحقَّ فيه

إيجابَه الأوليّا

إيجابَه الأوليّا

and to affirm the truth concerning him

And necessitates the truth in him

with its primary affirmation,

Its original necessity

ويقتفي في رضاه

ويقتفي في رضاه

نهجاً جليلاً جَليّا

نهجاً جليلاً جَليّا

and to follow, to please him,

And follows in his acceptance

a noble, clear path.

A great and clear path

والكلُّ أحظاهُ حظٌ

والكلُّ أحظاهُ حظٌ

فالفوزُ يلفى مَليّا

فالفوزُ يلفى مَليّا

And fortune has favored them all,

And all have gained from him

so success is found in abundance;

So success comes in abundance

لكن إدريسَ منهم

لكن إدريسَ منهم

حاز المكانَ العَليّا

حاز المكانَ العَليّا

but Idris, among them,

But among them Idris

has attained the lofty station.

Has attained the highest place
