الغيث في الغيب لا يدري به أحدٌ

الغيث في الغيب لا يدري به أحدٌ

إلا الإله الذي يمني به السحبا

إلا الإله الذي يمني به السحبا

The rain is in the unseen; no one knows of it

The rain in the unseen, no one knows about it

Except God, who makes the clouds pour it forth.

Except God who blesses the clouds with it

سبحانه وتعالى لا نحيط بما

سبحانه وتعالى لا نحيط بما

أخفاه علماً ولا ندري بما حجبا

أخفاه علماً ولا ندري بما حجبا

Glory be to Him, and exalted is He; we cannot comprehend what

Glory be to Him, we cannot encompass what

He has hidden, nor do we know what He has veiled.

He has hidden in knowledge, nor know what He has veiled

لوجهه الحمد لا نحصي الثناءَ له

لوجهه الحمد لا نحصي الثناءَ له

ولا نطيق له شكراً كما وجبا

ولا نطيق له شكراً كما وجبا

To His countenance belongs praise; we cannot reckon the praise due to Him.

To His face belongs all praise, we cannot enumerate His praise

Nor can we give Him thanks as is His due.

Nor can we thank Him enough, as is deserved

أحيا البلاد وأرواها برحمته

أحيا البلاد وأرواها برحمته

فاهتز هامدها من بهجةٍ وربا

فاهتز هامدها من بهجةٍ وربا

He revived the lands and quenched their thirst with His mercy;

He gave life to the lands and watered them with His mercy

So their lifeless ground stirred with joy and swelled.

So its barren parts shook with delight and drank

ولم يدع من قنوط في النفوس ولا

ولم يدع من قنوط في النفوس ولا

يأس ولا خيب الراجيه ما طلبا

يأس ولا خيب الراجيه ما طلبا

And He left no despondency in souls, nor

And He did not leave any despair in the souls, nor

Despair; nor did He disappoint one who hoped in Him for what he sought.

Hopelessness, nor disappointment for those who sought

فضلاً من الله أولانا الجميل به

فضلاً من الله أولانا الجميل به

فانظر لآثار رحماه ترى عجبا

فانظر لآثار رحماه ترى عجبا

A bounty from God: through it He bestowed kindness upon us.

By God's grace He bestowed good on us

So look at the traces of His mercy: you will see a marvel.

So look to the traces of His mercifulness, you will see wonder
