That flaw in your eyes has not marred you in my sight;
What ails your eye has not diminished you in my esteem.
you are too exalted to be faulted—and lovelier still.
You are too exalted and too radiant to be faulted.

God was gracious: He reduced two arrows to one,
God was gracious: He reduced two arrows to one,
out of compassion for His servants—and you grew more beautiful.
Out of compassion for His servants—and you grew more beautiful.
