Yes, a request I was charged with all through summer’s heat.
Yes, a need that the heat has burdened
I kept tending it in the cool of morning and evening, until I carried it into winter.
I fan it with the two winters until I scatter it
يعاودهاhe repeatedly asks for it حسانHassan عمروAmr بنson of نافعٍNafi‘
يعاودها حسان عمرو بن نافعٍ
فحسَّانso Hassan يحييهاhe brings it to life وعمرand Umar يميتهاhe puts it to death
فحسَّان يحييها وعمر يميتها
Hassan keeps asking Amr ibn Nafi‘ for it;
Hassan, son of Amr bin Nafe returns to it
So Hassan brings it to life, and Umar puts it to death.
So Hassaan revives it and Amr kills it
