ألاBehold ربَّmany a ذيone possessing نصحٍsincere counsel وقدyet perhaps تستغشهyou suspect him of deceit
ألا ربَّ ذي نصحٍ وقد تستغشه
ومنand of جاهدٍone striving فيin الغشِّdeceit يُحسبُis thought ناصحاًa sincere adviser
ومن جاهدٍ في الغشِّ يُحسبُ ناصحاً
Behold, many a sincere adviser you may nevertheless suspect of deceit;
O Lord of sincere advice - though insincerity may obscure it -
and many a man striving to deceive is thought a sincere adviser.
And of those who strive in deceit - counted as sincere counselors
