8. And the black ink blinds the onlooker
And the weakest branches

9. Applaud the harshest trunks
At the crucifixion of Jesus

11. Among the ribs
A melting heart moans in submission

12. With the fire of ardour
The sobbing dives upwards within it

13. And love of descent leaps to the depths
And if sighing is drawn within it by the vein's rope

14. The blood boils over it, from it and within it
To extinguish the feeling in the veins

15. With the cold of ice
And the heat of burns

16. And it etches atop the poem's madness
Verses of hunger

17. It beats the tattoos, a map of sorrow
Tracing the haze

18. Like carving on the face of water
And it blots out from under every parting

19. All differences
So that an eagle rejoices

20. And a kingfisher triumphs
And a dragon is content

21. And oh you market
Where the noble and base trade

22. With a monk's prayer beads
And a girl's earring

23. And a suckling child's toys

The tears of resolve

25. Impossible is your fluttering between the two abysses
The life of heroism is a hymn in your hearing

A victory
