1. O Lord, this is the season of glad tidings
Hearts are purified and bodies cleansed

2. Prayers gain purity in the wings of nightfall
And all creation bows before the light of Your Face

3. My provision is supplication, and my ship is hope
And if I go astray, my guide is Ramadan

4. In its shade souls rest and find peace
With sincere charity and goodness
