1. Generous is he whose day of giving is long
Though the clouds' rain be brief, that is their limit
١. كريمٌ إن تطول يوم جودٍ
فتقصير السحاب لها قصارى
2. They said to me, "Can any steed overtake him?"
I said, "No horse can kick up dust behind him."
