الصِدقُ أَفضَلُ ما حَضَرتَ بِهِ

الصِدقُ أَفضَلُ ما حَضَرتَ بِهِ

وَلَرُبَّما ضَرَّ الفَتى كَذِبُه

وَلَرُبَّما ضَرَّ الفَتى كَذِبُه

Truthfulness is the best thing you bring with you;

Truthfulness is the best you have brought

And many a time a young man's lying has harmed him.

And sometimes a young man's lies may harm him
