فَسَدَhas grown corrupt الزَمانُthe age وَسادَand has risen to power فيهِin it المُقرِفُthe baseborn man
فَسَدَ الزَمانُ وَسادَ فيهِ المُقرِفُ
وَجَرىand has run مَعَalongside الطِرفِthe thoroughbred الحِمارُthe donkey الموكَفُpack-saddled
وَجَرى مَعَ الطِرفِ الحِمارُ الموكَفُ
The age has grown corrupt, and the baseborn man has risen to power in it.
The times are corrupt and the debauched rule,
And the pack-saddled donkey has run alongside the thoroughbred.
The donkey runs with the wanton group.
