Nearness to the beloved’s home is a delight to the eye.
The nearness of the beloved's abode is joy to the eyes,
And separation is like bereavement within the heart.
And distance in the heart is like bereavement.

Indeed, the death of one who dies of love,
Verily, the death of one who dies of love,
remaining chaste, earns him distinction above others.
Is an honor to him above men's hands.
