وَقَفتُ بِها القَلوصَ فَفاضَ دَمعي

وَقَفتُ بِها القَلوصَ فَفاضَ دَمعي

عَلى خَدّي وَأَقصرَ واعِظايَه

عَلى خَدّي وَأَقصرَ واعِظايَه

I halted the young she-camel there, and my tears overflowed

Upon my cheek, and my two admonishers ceased their admonitions.
