لا أَحمِلُ اللَومَ فيها وَالغَرامَ بِها

لا أَحمِلُ اللَومَ فيها وَالغَرامَ بِها

ما كَلَّفَ الَلهُ نَفساً فَوقَ ما تَسَعُ

ما كَلَّفَ الَلهُ نَفساً فَوقَ ما تَسَعُ

I cannot bear both reproach on her account and passion for her.

God has not burdened a soul beyond what it can bear.
