وَخُذي مَلابِسَ زينَةٍ

وَمُصَبَّغاتٍ هُنَّ أَنوَر

وَمُصَبَّغاتٍ هُنَّ أَنوَر

Take garments of finery,

And take garments of finery,

And dyed ones—they are more radiant.

وَإِذا دَخَلنا فَاِدخُلي

وَإِذا دَخَلنا فَاِدخُلي

في الحُمرِ إِنَّ الحُسنَ أَحمَر

في الحُمرِ إِنَّ الحُسنَ أَحمَر

And when they enter, you enter too

And when we enter, then enter

Among those in red—for beauty is red.

In red garments: indeed, beauty is red.
