تَخَطَّتكَpassed you by المَقادِرُthe decrees of fate وَالرَزاياand calamities
تَخَطَّتكَ المَقادِرُ وَالرَزايا
وَعِشتَand you lived مِنَfrom الحَوادِثِmisfortunes فيin أَمانsafety
وَعِشتَ مِنَ الحَوادِثِ في أَمان
The decrees of fate and calamities passed you by,
And you lived safe from misfortunes.
