وَاَجدُand give generously عَلىto مَولاكَyour patron فيin الفَقرِpoverty وَالغِنىand wealth
وَاَجدُ عَلى مَولاكَ في الفَقرِ وَالغِنى
وَلاand do not تَقرِبِgo near الخُلقَthe character trait الَّذيthat أَنتَyou عائِبُهfind fault with it
وَلا تَقرِبِ الخُلقَ الَّذي أَنتَ عائِبُه
And give generously to your patron in poverty and wealth.
I find You in want and in plenty
And do not adopt the character trait you yourself condemn.
And seek not the company of those you disdain
