O Abu Hamid, if you fornicate, go far afield,

and mourn a vulva that Umm Ajrad took with her—

a vulva that was easy for bachelors, and was not

    unyielding to a married suitor.

The people's fornicators were stricken when she set out—

Umm Hammad, with it—to the resting place of the dead.

Indeed, it was for those nearest, for the neighbor, and for foes,

and for the ailing visitor and the frequent caller.
