وَسَهِرتُمُand you kept vigil فيin المُكرَماتِnoble deeds وَكَسبِهاand attaining them
وَسَهِرتُمُ في المُكرَماتِ وَكَسبِها
سَهَراًa vigil بِغَيرِwithout هَوىًlove’s passion وَغَيرِand without سِقامِillness
سَهَراً بِغَيرِ هَوىً وَغَيرِ سِقامِ
And you kept vigil for noble deeds and to attain them,
A vigil without love’s passion and without illness.
