كَأَنَّas though قَرقَرَةَgurgling الإِبريقِthe ewer بَينَهُمُamong them
كَأَنَّ قَرقَرَةَ الإِبريقِ بَينَهُمُ
صَوتُthe sound المَزاميرِthe flutes أَوor تَرجيعُrepetition فَأفاءِa stammerer
صَوتُ المَزاميرِ أَو تَرجيعُ فَأفاءِ
As though the ewer’s gurgling among them
As if the gurgling of the jug between them
Were the sound of flutes, or a stammerer’s repetitions.
