وَما الناسُ إِلّا حافِظٌ وَمُضَيِّعٌ

وَما الناسُ إِلّا حافِظٌ وَمُضَيِّعٌ

وَما العَيشُ إِلّا ما تَطيبُ عَواقِبُه

وَما العَيشُ إِلّا ما تَطيبُ عَواقِبُه

And people are but those who preserve and those who squander.

People are but keepers and squanderers,

And life is only that whose outcomes are good.

And life is but what is made pleasant by its consequences.
