فَاِغفِري وَاِعدِلي خَطائي بِحُبّي
Abda, I have indeed confessed my sin.
My love, I have confessed my sin,
So forgive me, and weigh my fault against my love.
So forgive me and rectify my mistakes with your love.
عَبدَAbda (vocative) لاno صَبرَpatience ليfor me وَلَستُand I am not فَمَهلاًso be gentle

قائِلاً قَد عَتَبتِ في غَيرِ عَتبِ
Abda, I have no patience, and I am not—so be gentle—
My love, I have no patience nor can I wait,
saying, 'You have reproached me without cause.'
Saying you've reproached me without reproach.

بُ فَأَبلى جِسمي وَعَذَّبَ قَلبي
And I said, when love exhausted me
And I said when love burdened me,
and so wore away my body and tormented my heart:
It wasted my body and tortured my heart.

'My Lord, I have no patience for estrangement—enough!
My Lord, I have no patience for separation, enough!
So relieve me—enough! Praise be to You—enough!'
So relieve me, enough! Praise be to You, enough!
