أَعمىa blind man يَقودُleads بَصيراًa sighted man لاno أَباfather لَكُمُfor you (plural)
أَعمى يَقودُ بَصيراً لا أَبا لَكُمُ
قَدindeed ضَلَّhas gone astray مَنwhoever كانَتِwere العُميانُthe blind تَهديهِguiding him
قَد ضَلَّ مَن كانَتِ العُميانُ تَهديهِ
A blind man leads a sighted man—may you have no father!
The blind leading the sighted, how strange!
He whom the blind were guiding has indeed gone astray.
The one guided by the blind has gone astray.
