حَتّامَuntil when قَلبِيَmy heart مَشغولٌpreoccupied بِذِكرِكُمُwith remembering you
يَهذيraves وَقَلبُكِand your heart مَربوطٌbound بِنِسيانيto forgetting me
How long will my heart remain absorbed in remembering you,
Raving, while your heart is bound to forgetting me?
إِنّيindeed I لَمُنتَظِرٌsurely awaiting أَقصىthe farthest reaches of الزَمانِtime بِهاwith her
إِنif كانَis أَدناهُits nearer reaches لاnot يَصفوis serene لِحَرّانِfor one burning with longing
Indeed, I await the farthest reaches of time with her,
If its nearer reaches bring no peace to one burning with longing.
