وَقَدand perhaps تَراهاyou see her إِذwhen لَناours وُدُّهاher affection
وَقَد تَراها إِذ لَنا وُدُّها
تَدنوshe draws near وَتخَشىand she fears عَقرَبَscorpion العَينthe eye
تَدنو وَتخَشى عَقرَبَ العَين
And you may see her, when her affection is ours,
You may see her when we have her love
drawing near and fearing the eye’s scorpion.
She comes near and fears the scorpion's sting
