أَباO father of حُذَيفَةَHudhayfa قَدindeed أُوتيتَyou have been granted مُعجَبَةًa marvel
أَبا حُذَيفَةَ قَد أُوتيتَ مُعجَبَةً
مِنfrom خُطبَةٍa speech بَدَهَتsprang forth spontaneously مِنfrom غَيرِabsence of تَقديرِforethought
مِن خُطبَةٍ بَدَهَت مِن غَيرِ تَقديرِ
O Abu Hudhayfa, you have indeed been granted a marvel

وَإِنَّand indeed قَولاًa speech يَروقُdelights الخالِدَينِthe two Khalids مَعاًtogether
وَإِنَّ قَولاً يَروقُ الخالِدَينِ مَعاً
لَمُسكِتٌsurely silencing مُخرِسٌrendering speechless عَنfrom كُلِّall تَحبيرِpolished composition
لَمُسكِتٌ مُخرِسٌ عَن كُلِّ تَحبيرِ
And a speech that delights both Khalids together
Indeed, a saying pleasing to both communities together
Surely silences and leaves one speechless, unable to produce any polished composition.
is a silent one, rendered speechless of any explanation.
