يا نَفسُ لا تَجزَعي مِنَ التَلَفِ

فَإِنَّ في اللَهِ أَعظَمَ الخَلَفِ

Oh soul, do not despair over loss

For in God is the greatest replacement

إِن تَقنَعي بِاليَسيرِ تَغتَبِطي

وَيُغنِكِ اللَهُ عَن أَبي دُلَفِ

If you are content with little, you will be joyful

And God will enrich you beyond Abu Dulaf
