كَأَنَّكَas though you عِندَduring الكَرِّthe charge فيin حَومَةِthe thick of الوَغىbattle
كَأَنَّكَ عِندَ الكَرِّ في حَومَةِ الوَغى
تَفِرُّyou flee مِنfrom الصَفِّthe battle line الَّذيwhich مِنfrom وَرائِكاbehind you
تَفِرُّ مِن الصَفِّ الَّذي مِن وَرائِكا
It is as though, when you charge in the thick of battle,
you are fleeing the battle line behind you.
