كَأَنَّas though المَناياthe fates of death لَيسَnot يَجرينَthey course فيin الوَغىbattle
كَأَنَّ المَنايا لَيسَ يَجرينَ في الوَغى
إِذاwhen اِلتَقَتِclash الأَبطالُthe champions إِلّاexcept بِرَأيِهِby his decision
إِذا اِلتَقَتِ الأَبطالُ إِلّا بِرَأيِهِ
As though the fates of death do not course through battle,
As if death does not run among the turmoil
when champions clash, except by his decision.
When the heroes meet, except by his opinion
