وَتَرىand you see السِباعَthe predators مِنَamong الجَواthe birds of prey (first fragment)
وَتَرى السِباعَ مِنَ الجَوا
رِحِbirds of prey (completing fragment) فَوقَabove عَسكَرِناour army جَوانِحhovering
رِحِ فَوقَ عَسكَرِنا جَوانِح
And you see the predators among the birds
You see the beasts of prey from afar
Of prey, hovering above our army,
Circling over our camp voracious
ثِقَةconfident بِأَنّاin the fact that we لاnot نَزاwe cease (first fragment)
ثِقَة بِأَنّا لا نَزا
لُwe cease (completing fragment) نميرُwe supply food to ساغِبَهاtheir hungry ones الذَبائِحthe slaughtered victims
لُ نميرُ ساغِبَها الذَبائِح
Confident that we never
Trusting we shall not cease to be
Cease feeding their hungry with slaughtered victims.
Their willing sacrificial feast
