1. بقزوين جسمي وروحي ثوت

    بأرض الهراة وسكانها

    My body is in Qazvin, and my soul has remained

    In the land of Herat and among its people.

  2. فهذا تغرب عن أهله

    وتلك أقامت بأوطانها

    So the former has gone abroad, away from its kin,

    While the latter has stayed in its homeland.
