    لا يحسن في المدرسة اليوم قعود

  2. وأشرب قدحا وقل على صوت العود

    العمر مضى وليس من بعد يعود

    Drink a goblet, and declaim to the sound of the oud.

    Life has passed, and afterward it does not return.
