To Abu al-ʿAlamayn the caravan has been led upward,
To the father of two worlds the caravan has climbed
by the men, who sought the finest turning place.
With it men have ascended and reached the best ascent

فحاضَرتْها بِمرْقى القَلبِ لا الدَّرجِ
They climbed a summit towering in glory,
It scaled a lofty peak with glory
then hastened to it by the heart's ascent, not by stairs.
And attained it with the ascent of the heart, not of steps

Its estranged one was restored through union, rejoicing,
Its severed one was returned, joyous with reunion
and its anguished one was brought back, striding proudly with relief.
And its anguished one restored, exulting in relief
