إن سرت أولم تسر عالٍ ووضاح
Stand, O full moon of Nu'man, radiant at a station;
Stand still bright moon at Nu'man abode
whether you journey or not, you are lofty and radiant.
Whether it set out late or with a start
أجسامناour bodies رقصتdanced لماwhen طلعتyou rose وكمand how many
أجسامنا رقصت لما طلعت وكم
إليكtoward you قدalready رفصتkicked بالوجدin ecstasy أرواحsouls
إليك قد رفصت بالوجد أرواح
Our bodies danced when you rose, and how many
Our souls have danced when you did rise
souls have kicked toward you in ecstasy!
And towards you skipped with joyful hearts
بوركتmay you be blessed ياO قمرmoon الآلاءthe blessings منas قمرٍa moon
بوركت يا قمر الآلاء من قمرٍ
دهراًfor ages بأضواءهin its lights الأرواحthe souls ترتاحfind rest
دهراً بأضواءه الأرواح ترتاح
Blessed are you, O moon of blessings—what a moon!
Blessed art thou, moon of favours, and of moon
Through the ages, souls find rest in its light.
An age by its beams souls rest and cheer
