قدindeed أجْمَعواthey resolved upon كَيْدَهُمْtheir plot قومٌsome people وقدand indeed جَمَعواthey gathered
قد أجْمَعوا كَيْدَهُمْ قومٌ وقد جَمَعوا
جُنْداًan army لهمْfor themselves بينَbetween قاصِيٍّone far away ودانِيِّand one nearby
جُنْداً لهمْ بينَ قاصِيٍّ ودانِيِّ
Some people have resolved upon their plot, and have gathered
They have gathered their cunning, a people, and they have gathered
an army for themselves from far and near.
An army for them, between the far and the near
راموthey sought أذاناharm to us وباتواand they spent the night فيin مُوامَرَةٍa conspiracy
رامو أذانا وباتوا في مُوامَرَةٍ
تَسِنُّsharpens بالوَهْمِin delusion أنيابَthe fangs الرُّقاطِيِّof speckled serpents
تَسِنُّ بالوَهْمِ أنيابَ الرُّقاطِيِّ
They sought to harm us and spent the night in a conspiracy
They intended harm and spent the night plotting
that, in delusion, sharpens the fangs of speckled serpents.
So that the fangs of the wretched may sharpen in delusion
صُلْناwe charged عليهمْagainst them بِعَزْمٍwith resolve أحْمَدِيِّof Ahmad يَدٍa hand
صُلْنا عليهمْ بِعَزْمٍ أحْمَدِيِّ يَدٍ
يَرُدُّrepels بالمَحْقِthrough annihilation وَثَّابَthe leaping one الأفاعِيِّof the vipers
يَرُدُّ بالمَحْقِ وَثَّابَ الأفاعِيِّ
We charged upon them with the resolve of an Ahmadian hand,
We prayed against them with an resolute Ahmadi hand
that repels, through annihilation, the leaping one among the vipers.
That repels with eradication the coils of snakes
وشَبَّand blazed فيهمْamong them شِهابُthe meteor السِّرِّof the secret فانْمَحَقواso they were obliterated
وشَبَّ فيهمْ شِهابُ السِّرِّ فانْمَحَقوا
كَذاكَthus غاراتُthe raids مَوْلاناof our master الرِّفاعِيِّal-Rifa‘i
كَذاكَ غاراتُ مَوْلانا الرِّفاعِيِّ
And the meteor of the secret blazed among them, so they were obliterated.
And the flame of mystery flared up in them, so they were destroyed
Such are the raids of our master al-Rifa‘i.
Thus are the raids of our Master Ar-Rifa’i
