ياO بَنيchildren of الدُّنياthis world اسْتَريحواtake your rest
يا بَني الدُّنيا اسْتَريحوا
سَيْرُناour journey عنكُمْaway from you إلىtoward اللهْGod
سَيْرُنا عنكُمْ إلى اللهْ
O children of this world, take your rest.
O people of this world, rest
Our journey away from you is toward God.
Our journey is from you to God
نحنُwe قومٌa people أَينَwherever سِرْناwe journeyed
نحنُ قومٌ أَينَ سِرْنا
ونَهَجْناand we followed a path حَسْبُناsufficient for us اللهْGod
ونَهَجْنا حَسْبُنا اللهْ
We are a people: wherever we journey
We are a people, wherever we traveled
and whatever path we take, God is sufficient for us.
And our path, God suffices us
