إلهي بما أوليتني منك رحمةً

من الستر باللطف الخفي أدم سترى

من الستر باللطف الخفي أدم سترى

My God, by the mercy You have bestowed upon me,

My God, with the mercy you have bestowed upon me

in shielding me with hidden kindness, keep me shielded.

With gentle concealment continue my veiling

وكن لي معيناً في الشؤون وناصراً

وكن لي معيناً في الشؤون وناصراً

وغوثاً وذخراً واجبار لكسر بالنصرِ

وغوثاً وذخراً واجبار لكسر بالنصرِ

And be my helper in affairs and my supporter,

Be my helper in affairs and my victorious ally

And my succor and treasure, and a remedy for brokenness through victory.

My succor, reserve and breaker of the broken with triumph

ولا تخزني يا من إليك تضرُّعي

ولا تخزني يا من إليك تضرُّعي

وسهل أموري انَّني حرت في أمري

وسهل أموري انَّني حرت في أمري

And do not disgrace me, O You to whom I direct my humble plea.

Do not disappoint me, O You to whom my pleading inclines

And ease my affairs; indeed, I am bewildered about my situation.

Make easy my affairs, I am perplexed in my matter
