أَرىI see سيرَةَpath الوُرَّاثِthe heirs وُرَّاثِheirs أَحمدٍAhmad
أَرى سيرَةَ الوُرَّاثِ وُرَّاثِ أَحمدٍ
نبيِّprophet الهُدىguidance سرِّsecret الوُجودِexistence المُقرَّبِthe one brought near
نبيِّ الهُدى سرِّ الوُجودِ المُقرَّبِ
I see the path of the heirs, the heirs of Ahmad,
I see the biography of Ahmad's inheritors,
the prophet of guidance, the secret of existence, the one brought near,
The intimates of the existence of the Prophet of guidance.
تقومُrises شُروقاًin radiance بعدafter بُعْدٍseparation وتَنْجليand shines forth
تقومُ شُروقاً بعد بُعْدٍ وتَنْجلي
بأَوطانِهِمْin their homelands منfrom بعدِafter حُكْمِsway التَّغَرُّبِexile
بأَوطانِهِمْ من بعدِ حُكْمِ التَّغَرُّبِ
rising in radiance after separation and shining forth
It rises like the dawn after remoteness,
in their homelands after the sway of exile.
And becomes clear in their homelands after the rule of estrangement.
فإِنَّfor indeed رسولَMessenger اللهِGod لمdid not يستَقِمْbecome settled لهfor him
فإِنَّ رسولَ اللهِ لم يستَقِمْ له
بمكَّةَin Mecca حالٌa state of affairs واسْتقامَand became settled بيثرِبِin Yathrib
بمكَّةَ حالٌ واسْتقامَ بيثرِبِ
For the Messenger of God found no settled
For indeed, the Messenger of Allah had no stable state for him
state in Mecca, but found one in Yathrib.
In Mecca, but found stability in Yathrib.
