علىupon عكسٍreversal سلوكthe way الأولياءthe saints
على عكسٍ سلوك الأولياء
I marveled at this world: it has set
I'm amazed at this world that's built
the saints’ way in reverse.
Upon the contrary way of saints
يراهاsees it بالبقاءas permanent البعضsome جهلاin ignorance
يراها بالبقاء البعض جهلا
وتلعبand plays فيin البقاءpermanence يدthe hand الفناءannihilation
وتلعب في البقاء يد الفناء
Some, in ignorance, see it as permanent,
Some ignorant see it lasting long
and the hand of annihilation plays within permanence.
While death's hand in its lasting plays
فعاكسهاالرجالso the men opposed it فأدركواand so they attained منfrom
فعاكسهاالرجال فأدركوا من
معاريجascents الفناءannihilation سناradiance البقاءpermanence
معاريج الفناء سنا البقاء
So the men opposed it and attained, from
So men opposed it and attained
the ascents of annihilation, the radiance of permanence.
Through death's ascents, eternal days
