لله في كشف الكروب لطائفٌ

لله في كشف الكروب لطائفٌ

يعنز لها فكر اللبيب الحاذق

يعنز لها فكر اللبيب الحاذق

God has subtle graces in dispelling sorrows,

Before which the discerning, skillful mind is baffled.

تتسلَّطُ العادات سدّاً شامخاً

تتسلَّطُ العادات سدّاً شامخاً

حول امرءٍ فيردُّها بالخارق

حول امرءٍ فيردُّها بالخارق

Customary ways hold sway as a towering barrier

Around a person, but He repels them through the miraculous.

ويقول داعي الغيبِ للمخلوقِ قف

ويقول داعي الغيبِ للمخلوقِ قف

متبصِّراً بعظيمِ فعل الخالق

متبصِّراً بعظيمِ فعل الخالق

And the herald of the unseen says to the created being: “Pause,

Contemplating the greatness of the Creator’s work.”
