إلى اللَّجف العلي تساقُ منا

إلى اللَّجف العلي تساقُ منا

على شغفٍ مطياتُ القلوبِ

على شغفٍ مطياتُ القلوبِ

Toward lofty al-Lajf are driven from us,

with ardent longing, the mounts of our hearts,

لبابِ مدينة العلم المعلى

لبابِ مدينة العلم المعلى

وصيِّ نبيِّ علامِ الغيوبِ

وصيِّ نبيِّ علامِ الغيوبِ

to the exalted gate of the City of Knowledge,

the legatee of the Prophet of the All-Knower of the unseen.
