Death rests at noon beneath our soldiers' feet.
The grief is heavy under our soldiers' feet,
And all calamities throng about our foe.
And all sorrows are full of our enemies.

So, O you whose heart is bound to our covenant,
O you who are united in heart with our covenant,
Seek intercession, when the noose tightens, through our forefather,
Plead when the noose tightens around our necks.

Abu al-‘Alamayn, the Succor—and victory is attained.
My Lord Almighty, help and victory are achieved,
Through his white hand, he has glory that has risen above the sky.
For Him with the white hand, glory reaching the heavens.

Nor is it any wonder if our master al-Rifa‘i rises high.
It is inevitable that our Master Ar-Rifa’i, if he wishes,
A sovereign of victories, his sea overflows with bounty.
A king of conquests, his sea with waves overflowing.

So blessed is he whose heart is bound to his threshold.
Blessed is he whose heart is devoted to it,
And through his secret the chains have been linked.
And the chains from it have bound my secret.

Three verses alluded to his resolve.
Three verses have indicated his determination,
Siraj al-Din polished them with the delicacy of his verse.
Clarified by Sarraj Ad-Deen in the kindness of his composition.

Then Mahdi, of the spreading tree of his learning, expanded them into five-line stanzas.
Mahdi Doha has quintessenced it with his knowledge,
Our praises grow in worth and rise high through his name.
Our praises rise high with his name,
وand إحسانهhis beneficence للقصدfor the aim كافٍsufficient وكافلُand a guarantor
و إحسانه للقصد كافٍ وكافلُ
And his beneficence suffices for the aim and guarantees its fulfillment.
And his benevolence to the purpose is sufficient and providing.
