شُروقُ بغربِيِّ اللِّوا لألأَتْ لنا

شُروقُ بغربِيِّ اللِّوا لألأَتْ لنا

فشِمْنا رَبيعاً بالرَّشَاشِ مُنَمْنَما

فشِمْنا رَبيعاً بالرَّشَاشِ مُنَمْنَما

Dawn glittered for us on al-Liwa's western side,

The dawns in my western twilight have arrived for us,

so we beheld a spring embroidered with drizzle.

So we sensed a springtime with fine spraying rain.

كَشَفْنا عن الوادي المُقَدَّسِ قربُهُ

كَشَفْنا عن الوادي المُقَدَّسِ قربُهُ

بعَزْمِ أَكُفِّ الغيبِ سِرًّا مُطَلْسَمَا

بعَزْمِ أَكُفِّ الغيبِ سِرًّا مُطَلْسَمَا

We revealed, concerning the valley whose vicinity is sacred,

We uncovered the sanctified valley in its nearness

through the resolve of the hands of the unseen, a talisman-sealed secret.

With the resolve of palms that grasp the unseen, tightly bound.

فلا بُدَّ أن تُجلى رَقائِقُ نورِهِ

فلا بُدَّ أن تُجلى رَقائِقُ نورِهِ

وتَلمَعَ حتَّى تملأَ الأَرضَ والسَّمَا

وتَلمَعَ حتَّى تملأَ الأَرضَ والسَّمَا

So the subtleties of its light must be unveiled,

So the subtleties of its light must become clear,

and shine until they fill the earth and sky.

Shining until it fills the earth and sky.

فقولوا لأصْحابِ القُلُوبِ ترقَّبوا

فقولوا لأصْحابِ القُلُوبِ ترقَّبوا

مَطالِعَ سِرِّ اللهِ من ذلكَ الحِمى

مَطالِعَ سِرِّ اللهِ من ذلكَ الحِمى

So tell those with hearts: 'Watch for

Say to the owners of hearts: wait in anticipation

the risings of God's secret from that sanctuary.'

For the rising places of God's mysteries from that sanctuary.
