إِليك أَيا رَبّاهُ واللّيلُ فاحمٌ

إِليك أَيا رَبّاهُ واللّيلُ فاحمٌ

أُنادي بقلبٍ أنت تعلم سِرَّهُ

أُنادي بقلبٍ أنت تعلم سِرَّهُ

To You, O my Lord, while the night is coal-black,

I call out with a heart whose secret You know.

فخذ بيدي يا كاشف الضرِّ رحمةً

فخذ بيدي يا كاشف الضرِّ رحمةً

وإنكَ للمظطرِّ تكشف ضُرَّه

وإنكَ للمظطرِّ تكشف ضُرَّه

So take my hand in mercy, O remover of affliction;

And You indeed remove the desperate one's distress.

دعاك عبيدٌ مسَّهُ العسر والقلا

دعاك عبيدٌ مسَّهُ العسر والقلا

أَغثهُ ويسر بالعناية أَمرَهُ

أَغثهُ ويسر بالعناية أَمرَهُ

A humble servant has called upon You, beset by hardship and rejection.

Come to his aid, and through Your care ease his affairs.
